Colleen Taylor is a prairie soul with a heart for the world. She grew up singing and playing piano in rural southeast Saskatchewan, but has lived in China, visited Mexico, lived and traveled in metropolitan cities, and has worked with international students and foreign workers. Colleen’s ministry is called “Siretona,” which means “Sing Release To Nations.”
Through Siretona, Colleen sings and speaks freedom to nations and generations. Her music and writing tell poignant stories, lament injustice, call for change, and celebrate the gifts in life.
In October 2008 along with Lisa Cornish and Elizabeth A. Taylor, Colleen and Dara, cowrote “Child of My Heart,” to sing at a fundraiser for OptionS Pregnancy Centre. Someone once told Colleen that inside every man is a nation. She realized this is also true of women. Saving unborn children and helping their mothers to find wholeness is a powerful way to bring release to nations.
Colleen holds professional membership as a writer and editor with The Word Guild. After two years of living with her brother, a professional potter, in the old school in Duval, Saskatchwan, Colleen relocated to Calgary, where she's glad the wide-open spaces are less than 5 minutes away!

Dara Hallett has always been immersed in music. She studied musical theatre at Randolph School of the Arts in Toronto and has completed her teacher’s ARCT with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. She obtained her Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina and went on to teach choir and band in a number of schools.
Dara is a former member and teacher with Saskatchewan Express. She has led worship at different churches in Saskatchewan and delighted in doing music at Arlington Beach Camp for a number of summers. She is a member of the Registered Music Teachers Association as well as the Saskatchewan Recording Industry Association.
Dara’s music comes from her experiences in life and observations of those around her. She has always been an avid folk music fan, writing her first songs, inspired by Joan Baez, at the age of 10. She rarely writes loves songs, preferring to challenge herself and others by writing to issues of faith, pain, and the journey of the soul. Dara and her husband Josh have lived with their three young boys at Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan for nearly two years. In May 2009 they transferred to Buffalo Narrows on the other side of the province.
